FYI: some of these links are Amazon Affiliate links. I’m all for sourcing local products and business’s but I’m also a busy mom of three kids and value convenience and a one-stop-shop experience. I’d be lying if I said I don’t have a few prime packages sitting on my front porch as I write this.
Sangak is my absolute favorite flatbread...I grew up eating it and it takes me back home. It is quite difficult to find online...it's a hit or miss on Amazon. Try your nearest ethnic market...they may have it!
These noodles are gluten free, made with mung beans, and have a fantastic slurpy texture. I really appreciate how easy they are on my digestive system.
This is my favorite Persian tea blend...it's has a lovely aroma and fills my kitchen with my grandmother's scent. Sometimes I add cardamom pods & rose petals for that next level experience.
Rose Water-A must have for Persian sweets and ice cream!
This is my mothers favorite basmati rice which means it it's is my favorite rice. She has a cabinet full of it and I shop there often:)
Persian Pantry Must-Have: Dried Limes
This jam will change your life. Period. Slather it on top of your favorite bread with some butter or feta cheese. The rest is history
This is my favorite Dairy Free milk. I love to put it in my chai (in the foamer if you can) or in my oatmeal in the mornings. It is also delicious in smoothies and to make DF ice cream with!
Saffron...need I say more? It is the most expensive spice in the world for a reason. Game changer when it comes to flavor, aroma and effects. Makes you happy and sometimes horny.
Kitchen Gadgets
This is my favorite Pressure Cooker by Cuisinart
A Persian home is incomplete without a rice cooker! This is my favorite rice cooker because it makes crispy tahdig that you could eat for days.... just kidding tahdig is normally eaten up in 20 seconds. I recommend the 5 cup rice cooker by Pars.
We use these wooden bowls by Aidea mulitple times a day. They are great for kids and indispensable! The quality is fantastic.
This is the perfect salad bowl to display your gorgeous herbs & lettuce. It is the perfect size, lightweight, and super easy to clean-up!
Persian tea lovers look no further....this is the next best thing to a Samovar. I even bought one for my mom and that is saying A LOT.
This slow cooker gets a ton of action in my kitchen. Why is this my favorite? It has three functions: saute, steam, and slow cook. Talk about a one-stop shop and no extra mess! The "keep warm" feature which keeps everything nice and cozy after your timer has gone off...a true set it and forget it experience.
I use my zester more than any other kitchen tool! I use it to grate fresh cinnamon on my chai in the mornings, grate parmesan on top of grilled vegetables, to grate ginger in sauces and sautés and of course, to grate lemon zest to brighten dishes!
This is the SEXIEST toaster I've ever seen. Balmuda is a Japanese brand and they have, like Japanese do, PERFECTED the technology behind it-they use a steam system that does magical things to bread and other baked goods (this doubles as a mini oven) I was introduced to Balmuda after being hired to play a role in their commercial. I tried their toast on set and could not believe how golden and gorgeous it came out. It was as if the baker handed me bread right out of the oven. I ended up asking them to send me one and the rest is history....I'm hooked and you will be too! You get 10% through 12/31/2020 with this link!
My husband bought me this Global knife for Christmas after reading that this was Anthony Bourdain's go-to knife. I cannot say in enough words what Anthony Bourdain meant to me and how much he taught me. Every time I use this knife-which is multiple times a day-I feel like Tony is in the kitchen with me telling me to fuck shit up and go for it. It is sharp, sleek, the perfect weight which makes it easy to handle! This has a fluted edge which means food won't stick to the edges of the blade which makes fo smoother chopping. Best feature: the price. You get so much bang for you buck!

Health & Wellness
Note: I am not a health care professional, just a junkie for all things natural and healing. This is simply my opinion and take on products that have served my family and I well. Please do your own homework…even natural things can have side effects. Peace.
VicTsing 300 Milliliter Wood Grain Essential Oil Diffuser
NOW Eucalyptus Essential Oil, 4-Ounce , 2 Count
NOW Essential Oils, Nature's Shield, Energizing Aromatherapy Scent
Dr. Singha's Mustard Bath Salts...this stuff is magic. A must-have during the winter month and cold/flu season. The mustard warms you up and the eucalyptus smells amazing. Wintergreen soothes achy muscles. Just make sure to drink a ton of water afterwards! Makes me feel dehydrated. Ps...this is only my opinion and I always recommend you do your own research!
The Morning Sidekick Journal

Honey Gardens Elderberry Syrup
This yoga mat by Pendelton is my absolute favorite and doubles as a runner in my bedroom. It is too gorgeous to put away in the closet!
Beauty
This is hands down my favorite lipgloss (shade: Gospel) of all time...made my Fitglow. It is nourishing and luscious and doesn't feel sticky icky like many others do. My lips are hungry for this stuff and can't get enough. This is the first product I tried by Fitglow and have now fallen for their entire line. Can't say enough good things.
I cannot even tell you how long I've been looking for a concealer that actually covers my dark circles but isn't loaded with toxins. LOOK NO FURTHER. This Hynt concealer is creamy, lightweight and down right dreamy. You don't feel like you have anything on and the best part is, a little goes a long way. I recommend applying it with Fitglow's Teddy Double Conceal and Correct brush.
This is my favorite plant-based bronzer/blush trio by Fitglow Beauty. The colors are just right and give me that sun kissed glow minus the sun damage. I use this palette daily and it has lasted me nearly 2 years...you get your money's worth and then some. Ps...If you live in the Portland area, you must visit Coral Story Beauty located on Division. I'm a sucker for everything she sells...she does her research and only carries top quality natural skincare and make-up.
I'm obsessed with this Glam Palette by Fitglow. The shadow colors are earthy, gorgeous and full of rich pigment. The STAR of this show is the highlighter...gives you a glow that makes you feel bright and fabulous. Ps...If you live in the Portland area, you must visit Coral's Story Beauty located on Division. I'm a sucker for everything she sells...she does her research and only carries top quality natural skincare and make-up.
My wild curly mane loves this deep conditioner by Amika even more than I do. I keep it in all day long. Love the packaging, scent and the how my hair just soaks it up and blossoms afterwards!
I dig this Double Conceal and Correct Brush from Fitglow. Feels really good on my skin and blends product onto skin seamlessly.
This Hynt mascara has game and it is strong. I love it because you can build layers without clumping and is super lengthening. I really like the brush and appreciate they way it separates my lashes...all around a really great mascara and I would know because I have used them all!
It all begins with skincare! I do my best to feed my body and skin with nourishing ingredients and care. My brother struggled with Rosacea for years until he met Sharon...the mastermind behind this skincare line. He bought me a certificate a few years ago to get a facial with Sharon...the rest is history. This is Dzialo's sample set, an affordable and easy way to try her magic potions. No doubt you will be hooked. If you live in the Portland area, you must treat yourself to a facial with Sharon or her lovely sister Andrea! My favorite items from Dzialo: Trevi Face and Makeup Cleanser, Rosa toner, Mira Cream, and Thermophile Cream.
My favorite part of being on set is learning tips and tricks from make-up artists. This "no-color" setting powder is fantastic and one of the best kept secrets that's not a secret anymore!
This stuff is magic and only $20!!!!! Say what???
